Motherhood – A New World for a Woman. A Journey Worth Living
Motherhood! It is a new world for a woman. I believe that when a woman becomes a mother, she is more stronger than ever before. It is said being a mother is learning about strengths you didn’t know you had, and dealing with fears you didn’t know existed. So here I am the mother of a baby boy which is my new world. My story is no different than yours, I hereby got an opportunity to share my experience of transforming from a woman to a mother. It is a journey worth living. My husband and I were trying to have
a baby but we were failing each time. Soon I discovered that I am suffering from PCOD because of which I couldn’t conceive. After that I started the treatment for PCOD. I had to lose weight, so my new lifestyle began. I started with a healthy diet, exercise
and mindful yoga. I had gone through many tests and examination just to know if there is some other issue. Some tests were really painful, but my husband and I wanted a baby, we together faced this problem. Even he had to go through a certain test which
he early refused to take but later he understood and went for the test. Meanwhile, I was able to reduce my weight from 65 to 57 kg in 3 months. Yes! In 3 months I resolved the issue of PCOD. Soon after that, I conceived naturally. No IUI or no IVF needed. My story doesn’t end here, it was the beginning of a new chapter of my life as mother. It took me three pregnancy kits to believe that I can and I am going to be a mother now. I broke this news to my husband first and guess what was his reaction!
He said okay! Good! Let me sleep. I know you all must be thinking how rude it was but trust me I didn’t feel bad at all. After all that I got a blood test done and finally, it was confirmed that I was approximately 1 month pregnant. We were so overwhelmed.
We thank God and our doctor, thus from there my journey from woman to a mother started. I faced many issues during pregnancy but ultimately I gave birth to a baby boy that too through a normal delivery without any epidural injection. Now my baby boy whose name is Laksh is 13 days old and he is very active and healthy!
