Five Fun Things I Did During Quarantine

This lockdown took not just our freedom of movement but even our active social life. And, this phase brought many new changes too. Today, I will share the five new things I did during this period to make us happy.
Social Distancing
It was my baby’s first birthday, and we had many plans for her but had to cancel them all. However, we celebrated her birthday in our own way. We dressed her up, did a photoshoot, got a cake, decorations, and invited all the friends and relatives to join us via video conferencing. It was a new experience for us all.
Experiments
I am a foodie who doesn’t like to cook. But, I make many fun and easy recipes for my family, and they love it! I will share those recipes in my next article.
What a View
Fortunately, we live in a home with an amazing view. Greenfields, river, mountain and the sunset. Wow! Never have I ever enjoyed and cherished it before, but now, we have our tea/coffee in the balcony and watch the sunset every day. The resort kind of feeling is blissful!
Mini Store
Yes, I have stored all the essential food items in cartons and packages, especially Maggi and butter, just like all other people do, so I don’t have to go out often, and we are never short of anything. I just love them, and whenever we are out of something, I check my mini store out for a refill.
My Turn
It’s been years since I used to wait in a queue for my turn. But now, because of the lockdown, I stand in queues for long periods to buy milk, veggies, and other stuff. It is actually fun for me, especially because I get to see new people, which is a rare sight nowadays.
Enjoy this period and remember this phase for the rest of your life. I know it’s tough, but this too shall pass. Till then, Happy Quarantine!
