POOJA KOTHARIExpecting Mom due in 1 month2 months agoA. It is usually not a cause for concern if a one-month-old baby, especially if breastfed, does not pass stool for 2–3 days. Breast milk is easily digested, and sometimes there’s very little waste, so some babies may poop less frequently. As long as your baby is feeding well, passing gas, sleeping normally, and the tummy is soft—not hard or bloated—this is normal. However, if the baby seems uncomfortable, cries excessively, has a hard belly, or passes hard stools when they do go, consult your pediatrician. You can gently massage the baby’s tummy or do bicycle leg movements to help stimulate digestion.
