yesterday My baby got 14th week vaccine. she had only 99,1 degree temperature after getting vaccinated. In previous vaccine she had high fever like 101 or 102.Is it okay having only this much temperature this time? Do reply plz .

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. yes when fever comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually suxbsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

NikithaMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hello it is normal and not to worry about.. not8 necessary that child will get fever or fever will be high with the vaccination some bavies don't even get fever and some babies just get mild fever and both is absolutely normal and is absolutely nothing to worry about
