Q.

Yesterday ie.on 1.10.2021 my baby get vaccinated with OPV 2,MMR-1 and Typhoid conjugate vaccine and since yesterday she is in fever and fever is like coming and going whole night she kept on crying I also gave oral suspension of crocin which is suggested by my pediatric, please may I know when she will be ok and what should I do? because even after giving her crocin she is in fever still??

A. it may take one or two days for the pain to subside give paracetamol and ice cube on injection area For further advice it is advisable to consult your local doctor for appropriate examination if there is need for investigations also then only proper treatment can be given to you o . K .

A. Hello dear parent! It is a normal finding in small infants. Try giving a light sponge bath to reduce the discomfort apart from medication. If the problem persists please consult your child’s doctor for further advice. Good luck and take care.
