A. Low hair growth and hardness of the skin on your girl child’s lower legs could be due to several reasons, including nutritional deficiencies (like low iron or vitamins), dry skin, or mild skin conditions such as eczema or keratosis pilaris. Hard, rough patches often happen when skin becomes dry or clogged with tiny bumps. Ensure she has a balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals, keep her skin moisturized with gentle creams, and avoid harsh soaps. If the problem persists or worsens, consult a pediatrician or dermatologist for proper evaluation and treatment.
