Why do babies feel pain while farting?? Is it normal??

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Gas in smaller babies is a very common and a Matter of concern most of the times for care giver.
its mostly because of immaturity of the gut . formula feed or early introduction of cows milk in babies may be aggravating factor. proper burping after each feed is very important.
Enzyme preparations like aglozyme or vitazyme can be benegficial.Also colicaid drops can be given.

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl3 years agoA. It Probably could be due to gas in the stomach that is why your child will be feeling pain while farting you know it could be normal sometimes because at this age you actually cannot distinguish between any kind of pain so it’s normal if you feel like this
