Q.

while taking discharge from hospital, foctor told to feed baby for every 2 hours. my bany is on formula feed, nestle nanpro1. he told even though baby is sleeping, wake him up for feeding. my question is during day times i am doing the same as said by doctor. but what about night times... should i feed by waking him up for every 2 hours.. or shall i feed him only when he wakes up and asks for milk by crying...

A. please try to give only breastmilk till completion of six months feed during day should be given Every two hours but during night.. it can be given at a gap of 5-6 hour's too

A. night also u feed for 2-3hrs. u need not wake him up. dream feed karte hai babies during nights. just take the poition n insert bottles niople... baby vl suck n drink...

A. ok. but i dont hav milk production madam. just 1 -2drops is coming since first day and baby is crying because of hunger. and hence we started using nestle nan pro1 on doctors advice.

A. Don’t Do it at all neither in the daytime not in the night time I am very clearly had a discussion with my own doctor previously she told me that you should only be feeding your child on demand when your child is awake don’t try to force feed your child don’t try to force wake up your child to give a feed that’s not the right thing to do so please don’t force feed your child wait for your child to wake up to take a feed
