which medicine is to be given for cough and cold for 9 year old kid

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. This can occur due to either allergy or infection and some times due to weather changes around the child.
For cold you can give syp allegra 5 ml twice daily to the child. (Helps in decreasing running nose and cold)
Try to prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops every three hourly.
Indirect steam can also be given.
For fever and pain give paracetamol
Go for home remedies like Tulsi Ginger honey diluted with water combidnation and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day.
Give warm water to drink. .
For wet coughing you can give syrup ascoril LS 5ml twice daily to the child

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. Cherricof you can give you can give honitus to both the medicines are good to be given to the child as both the medicines are totally safe and once Ayurvedic little blend of Ayurvedic and the other one is allopathic so you can go ahead with any of them
