Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. if you are going for ninevalent then it would be better to go for ninevalent because it offers more immunity. but if you are going for fourvalent then you can go for either of them you have mentioned.
hpv also known as human papillomavirus vaccine also known as cervical cancer vaccine is now an important vaccine which is available for both male and female. there are two types available that is 4 valent (cervavac and gardasil 4 )and 9 valent(gardasil 9).
9valent has got more immunity but it is costly also. please talk to your doctor who will guide you as what would be best for your child.
before 14 years of age 2 dosage needs to be given and after 14 years of age 3 dosage needs to be given. this vaccine can be taken till 45 years of age for a female.
