when to introduce milk to exclusively breastfeed baby. my baby boy is 8 month old and he is breastfeeding

A. In COMPLEMENTARY FEEDING start with two rules Rule number 1 is that you have to give the food in the form which the child can swallow Rule number 2 is that always give a new food for for 5 to 6 days to see whether the child is able to digest that food or not as well as it will help in creating the taste in the child. you can gradually start all types of food made from cereals pulses vegetable milk and fruits. You have to start initially with less amount and gradually you can increase the amount so what you can do to introduce the milk is that gives small amount of outside milk to the child and the child is tolerating then you can gradually increase the amount

A. Hello dear parent, you can begin with formula milk from 6th month of baby's age or cow milk you can start from 1 year of baby's age. There is no problem if you are breast feeding simultaneously. Also give semi solids appropriately. Good luck and take care
