at present the vaccine is that much important that the indian government is giving it now free of cost in regular vaccination schedule.
meet your doctor who will tell you the schedule for pneumococcal vaccine.
even if it was missed previously you can go for it now also.
this vaccine prevents infection due to pneumococcal bacteria which can affect the brain throat chest the child
it is usually given at 6 weeks and then at 10 weeks and then at 14 weeks and the booster dosage is given at 15 months of age
