Q.

When my boy was about 3.5years old..he broke half of his tooth (front)..then later that tooth started getting infected( a puss filled blister type on gums) .So it had to be extracted. Its been more than 1.5 year now after the extraction and he is now 6 years old..Is it normal for him to not have another tooth in place of that even after so much time..? Is it possible that we might have got permanent tooth extracted without realizing it?

A. hello ma'am do not worry about this normally permanent teeth starts coming around the age of seven years so you can wait for some time for it is better to visit a dentist regarding this.

A. Alternatively, they can have a tooth implant placed instead, which will require a consultation with your pediatric or family dentist.
