When do we start to understand what we are saying to our children, if we tell them as an example that if we do something and don't do it then we will get spanked, then at what age do they start to understand??

That’s after the age of two years that you can expect your child to be like this but yes you can tell your child literally like this that this is not good you should not do this this is not good for you you should never tell them that you will get spanked that is not a good thing to be said and that’s actually not good to be done as well so you would need to be more precise and particular
