Weaning food can be started from 5-6 months of age and in that initially in the stage 1 you can introduce some semi solid food to the baby like Banana mango plum boiled Apple and then gradually you can start with some Puri of carrot potato other foods which can be given are porridge of suji e sabudana can be prepared in breast milk or formula milk.
initially you can start with one or two tsp which can be gradually increased up till at least three meals in a daay
Neelam ChinnappaMom of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. thank you for reaching out with this question please know that you should only start with semisolids once your baby complete 6 months old also my suggestion would be used on a start with home cooked meals instead of store-bought food items keep it for emergencies and while you're traveling
