Home made porridges are better than commercial preparations. You can make a variety: sooji kheer, rice kheer, thick soups made from a mixture of pulses, cereals and seasonal vegetables, rice-daal khichdi etc.

yes it is.
but instead of giving any commercial food products,I would suggest to offer home prepared food items.
I would suggest to prepare cerelac at home using different pulses and nuts.
it is more safe and hygienic.
