1. Have frequent and small meals. Make a diet plan of 6 meals a day (including snacks). For eg., start with breakfast @8:30-9 am, fruits @11, lunch @1:30-2pm, fruits @4pm, protein snack @6pm, dinner @ 8:30-9pm and milk before going to bed.
2. Don't let your stomach growl.
3. During my 2nd trimester I realised, that heartburn occurs when stomach is either empty or too full. So be aware of the quantity and how full your stomach is feeling.
4. If you face heartburn, Digene is safe (my gynaec told me and I also have taken it) and you can have 2 spoons of it.

you may consult an ayurvedacharya to get rid of the acidity issue whjc is very common during pregnancy
please don't over eat
take couple of bites less than what you really want to
