what's the cause of excessive drooling in babies. and how to reduce that?

Reason majorly is teething..
You should keep her face clean from drool as excess drool may cause some skin allergies.
If she's droilng , you may give her silicone teether and other kind of teether material.
Keep her hydrated by givingher BM.
Take sunbath daily with her head and ears covered.
