what is treatment of jaundice for newborn ?

A. It completely depends upon the bilirubin level, and how the baby is responding. Sometimes the bilirubin levels will not be that high, but the baby will get weak. In such a case. Also, phototherapy might be required. Otherwise, the exposure to early morning sunlight helps to a certain extent provided the bilirubin levels are less. Also, we need to know what is the underlying cause of the jaundice, because physiological jaundice will reduce, but there could be other causes also which will require Lots of treatment
