Q.

What is the ratio of water and rice porridge for initial food for my 6 months baby? And how much quantity should we feed the baby daily?

A. it should be semi liquid in form Baby food must be soft, properly cooked and easy to chew. Start with a very small quantity and slowly increase the portion. Weaning food must be a single grain food. Always feed freshly cooked food to your baby.

A. Hello mom Comparatively the water should be more because in a starting few days you should always try to give more fluids to your baby. You can also start giving Dal Ka Paani, rice water, vegetable soup, fruit Peery and with the time you can increase the food item in babies regular diet plan. Baby should take at least four meals in a day. Happy parenting
