What is a balanced diet for three year old child ?

A. Dear mum, for 3 years old child, a balanced diet should consist of a variety of food groups. You should include seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. 500 ml of milk every day including milk products like curd, paneer, cheese. You can give eggs and non veg foods like meat, chicken, fish. Variety of grains, cereal, pulses and legumes. Add dry fruits like almonds, walnuts, raisins, cashew nuts, dates to baby’s diet. Add ghee to baby’s food.
