Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has beenvy started after 6 months . you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given onlxy in medical supervision .

Constipation and gas problem is very normal in the newborn babies just give your baby good massage with warm oil on his stomach clockwise and anticlockwise position and give him Tummy time daily do exercise with his legs in a cycling form apply hing water around his navel but not in the Navel as well .u can sometimes also give Woodward Gripe Water as directed by ur doctor. Gripe water is safe as long as it does not contain alcohol in it.
