Q.

What diet should follow to baby when she was 6 months old. What was the process of feeding regarding the quantity. Can anyone please guide?

A. hello mom if this is the first time that the baby is introduced to weaning foods then it would be ideal if you could initially start with liquid consistency foods , such as dal or rice water or vegetable soup or fresh fruit juices etc and once baby is comfortable and accepts them well enough then move to semi solid and mashed consistency foods, such as kichidi, ragi porridge , mashed steamed vegetables, fruit pulps etc . start one thing at a time and as they tend to accept well gardually increase the quantity , variety and number of meals. and alternate it with your feed.
