what causes mucus in babies

A. mucus in the stool is very common phenomenon. it is usually present due to the throat mucus / thick saliva as well as respiratory secretions which pass on from respiratory tract (parts of nasal cavity , oral cavity and throat) to the gastrointestinal tract by swallowing and then comes out through the anal canal mixed with the stool. it may be present in less quantity during regular times and would be in more quantity durivng allergy as well as cough and cold in the child. mucus in tvhe stool is also associated with gastrointestinal infections as a less constipation as well as indigestion. treatment is usually given according to the cause

A. Hi parent Mucus in nose is caused usually by the pollen allergic reactions mucus in ears are normal and it should not be tempered with for nasal blockage , you may use the nasal drops and keep a bowl of chopped onion near her bed approx three feet far over night
