what can cause pica in child? how can we prevent? what are the common symptoms?

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Hello, your baby boy is 25 months old and he is having a habit of Pica means eating of non edibles like mud and colour and chalk etc etc so she needs iron and calcium vitamin d3 supplements

Shruti SuranaMom of a 12 yr 3 m old boy3 years agoA. hi dear mom..pica is condition where in baby eats inedible stuff...this is due to deficiency...you cannot prevent it..but if you see such behavior better consult your paediatrician for proper diagnosis and treatment. happy parenting
