Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain.
paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day.
you can also apply ice over the injection site.
if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel.
vaccine fever usually subsidesd in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

After getting the vaccination done you just need to put ice on that area after that you can apply this tube called Thermophob to avoid swelling and reduce the pain and if there is fever or no fever but if there is too much of pain you can always give paracetamol to the child
