Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. for proper fluent speech you need to wait till 3 years of age of the child to speak in complete sentences clearly and fluently if its not so then consult doctor to know if speech therapy is required.till that time keep interacting as much as possible in your spoken ilanguage and involve the child in language learning activities using audiovisual aids too. dont worry if other milestones are normal this will also be achieved in time at times it may get del4ayed..there are variations in children by age for this. . .
PallaviMom of a 7 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. hello...Generally most children speak their first word between 10 to 14 months of age but some even start earlier by 6month...just a sound like mama...By the time your baby is a year old, he or she is probably saying between one to four words. They will be simple, and not complete words, but you will know what they mean... they may say “ma-ma,” or “da-da,” or try a name for a sibling, pet, or toy.
