Q.

we took the 6 weeks vaccinations today and baby is taking less milk after that.Is it normal

A. Yes, it is completely normal for babies to take less milk after their vaccinations. This is because their body may be experiencing some discomfort or pain, which can impact their feeding habits. As long as your baby is still having wet diapers and gaining weight appropriately, there is no need to worry. Just keep offering the milk and be patient as your baby adjusts to the changes.

A. may be due to pain when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever
