Q.

Want to know about the diet plan of my son beside the mother milk & also the caring tips for his better growth.

A. Its the time to gradually shift from breast milk to home made food...start with semisolid foids which the baby can swallow like rice smashed potato,smashed carrots...start with 2-4tsf then gradually increase as per tolerance.

A. at the end of 6 months you have to start gradually all types of food to which the child is not allergic and does not have digestion problem as well as the child is able to swallow the food. CEREALS PULSES VEGETABLE Gradually from few spoons per day(cereals pulses vegetable) you have to shift to half katori (100ml) three times per day till 9 months of age. FRUITS From six months to niine months you have to give few 2 pieces of fruit and then shift to half a katori 2 times per day. if breastfeeding is is going on you can continue at regular interval. and if you are giving outside milk then it should be around 700 to 800 ml per day

A. Hello dear parent! Once your baby completes 6 months you can start giving your baby semi solids and water along with daily breastfeeding. Start giving small quantities of semi solids like homemade cerelac, mashed bananas, ragi, apple purée and so on. Continue breastfeeding. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug daily massage oil.
