Q.

urgent i just want to know about diet like what fruits and vegetables should be included in child diet.. I am feeling my child's diet has been reduced the way he was taking earlier. [breakfast-mid meal(fruit) - lunch- mid meal(fruit or shake or anything) -dinner]. he is avoiding one meal may be due to intake of water or what m bit worried about his health. no lunch due to late breakfast or sometime no dinner due to few junk meal

A. Hi, 8 AM-breakfast and a glass of milkshake 11 PM-fruits with a dry fruit powder and honey 1 PM-rice and dal or Khichdi with vegetable fry and curd rice 4 PM-fruit juice or vegetable soup 8 PM-Idli, Upma. Before putting to sleep give a glass of lukewarm milk with a pinch of turmeric added to it. With this in between you can give buttermilk, water, coconut water, fresh fruit juice. Always give everything in a smaller quantity and in smaller intervals. Make your own timetable so that you can cover different type of veggies, pulses, fruits.
