typhoid fever vaccine se fever aata hai,my baby is 2 year old and she had vaccine yesterday,nurse said fever may not come but she has fever, is it normal and fever kitne din tak rahega?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. when fever comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as welfl as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local scwelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 10 m old boy3 years agoA. Hi mom fever swelling and rashes are the common symptoms after vaccination. so no need to worry. this is normal. Fever can take 2-3 days to subside. Take care and all the best
