Change diapers frequently and use a gentle, fragrance-free wipe or lukewarm water to clean the area. Allow the skin to air dry before putting on a fresh diaper. Apply a barrier cream containing zinc oxide or petroleum jelly to protect the skin. Avoid tight diapers and consider using breathable, hypoallergenic options. If the rash persists or worsens, consult a pediatrician as it might need specific treatment.
