Today I given organic honey to my 5 months 25 days baby? Is it OK for giving once

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. Yes it’s absolutely fine dear mom don’t panic and stress yourself it’s just don’t give it on regular basis and ideally honey can be introduced after one year of age as sometimes it causes allergy but if baby is fine then nothing to worry

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. Yes, babies younger than 1 year old should not be given honey. Clostridium bacteria that cause infant botulism usually thrive in soil and dust. They also can contaminate some foods — honey, in particular.
