Q.

Though most of my life I have been a Non-vegeterian. I have become vegetarian now. my wife & I have never given eggs or any non- veg food to him. Now many vegetarians face micro nutrient deficiencies once they are close to 40 or even earlier. deficiencies like D3 & B12 etc. what should we do in order to possibly protect our child from deficiencies?

A. But Why have you become a vegetarian if you still like to enjoy non-vegetarian things and you can eat and if you don’t want to eat at least give egg to your child if nothing else it may be a personal reason for quitting things I’m not saying that but yes for your child at least you can start giving egg to the child or else for vegetarian option you only have Paneer and soya terms of proteins
