Q.

This a debated topic whether mother should kiss their child or not. Usually its advised not to do it. But recently I came accross many resources on internet which claims that it is actually good for childs health. while kissing baby mother collects pathogens from child skin and her body creates antibody of them. Antibodies are thereafter transferred to child through breast milk. It sounds somewhere logical but still wanted to have an expert advice.

A. You are right. You can kiss the baby and you won't transfer any germs through a kiss. Keep this all aside and enjoy the time with your baby.. Babies do need pampering, warm hug and kiss now and then to make them feel safe. Enjoy your time with the baby rather than thinking too much on these kind of hypothetical questions
