Q.

There is a lump at the site of injection on my 5month old baby's tigh after vaccination. I hv been applying thrmobophob gel 2 times per day frm past 1 week , but the lump is not reducing....how long it ll take to go?

A. sir is there any problem if tat lump didnt reduce aftr couple of weeks

A. after painful vaccines like dpt which comes with pentavalent vaccine can cause swelling in the limbs which can continue for more than two months also. it does not require atny treatment and should go away on its own. after vaccination immediately you should start applying ice as well as thrombophob gel to prevent such swellings from persisting
