For proper overall growth and development, a balanced diet which includes all the food groups is needed as there is no one food which has all the nutrients.
include varied foods in your child's meal to get all the required nutrients like whole grain, dals and pulses, milk and milk products, seasonal fruits and vegetables, nuts and oil seeds, ghee, egg, chicken and lean meat etc.
avoid processed and packaged foods .
make sure child is well hydrated
SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr old girl4 years agoA. Nuts are very healthy and definitely good for babies kids. You could also make dry fruits nut powder at home and can add to all baby foods and milk. It's healthy and tasty too. Its helps in good weight gain and it's very healthy too.
