Q.
Son is having common cold since 3 days..he is 1.5 years old and since today afternoon he is having runny nose and coughing very badly..his body is slightly warm..I am giving NOBLOK drops since 2 days.. please suggest.. should I wait for another day or two to consult doctor..it's raining badly here in Mumbai

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. please give cheston cough syrup to the baby 2.5 ml 3 times a day Cold and cough in the babies are because of viral infections which will take at least five to six days time to subside it is advisable to do steam inhalation frequently to liquefy the secretions as well put nasoclear saline drops in the nose of the baby

U Should consult your doctor I am not saying that you have to visit your doctor personally you can do a video call or you can talk to your doctor at least that way the doctor to know the current situation of your child and they can advise you with the right medicine that you need to go for
