Sometimes I see sticky yellow substance in my baby’s eyes, is it normal?

A. yes that's fine kindly maintain hygiene of the eyes and clean it with with clean water. normally simple secretions / allergy redness should not occur again and again. use hygienic cloth as well as your hands should be clean when coming in contact with the child eyes if the child's eyes is sticky with pus discharge or regular discharge coming out you have to meet the doctor. examination is needed in case on eye infection . do not use any drops witout medical consultation

A. One of the most common problems with infants are a blocked tear duct, also called the nasolacrimal duct. The duct is a small opening on the inside of the eye which drains tears into the inner nasal area. When it is narrowed or blocked, tears build up forming a yellow, crusty discharge.
