Q.
sometimes baby aggressively ask for breast. when i offer breast he keeps sucking n when i remove breast from his mouth he aggressively start searching for it and if unable to find it he starts crying.he just keep nipple in his mouth n sometimes sucks it. it continues for a longer duration for eg 1 hr. why is it so?

if improper the child will continue to suck for long hrs without getting any milk
meet lactational counsellor who will gfuide regarding this.
see videos on you tube for breastfeeding position and attachment.
take plenty off water, home made diet, seasonal fruits and vegetables, milk for increasing breast milk for yourself.
take 15 to 30 days weight and growth assessment by the doctor.

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 9 m old boy3 years agoA. hello just make sure the baby is getting sufficient bm and taking sufficient bm which then should be safe and you can even express your milk using a Babyhug breastpump and check for the same to make sure there is sufficient breast milk if not give infant formula milk
