someone told me not to use any lotion or moisturizer on infant for first 1 month. is it true?

Zoya RashidMom of a 1 yr 6 m old boy2 months agoA. dear, you can use lotion on a newborn, but choose a gentle, baby lotion free of harsh chemicals.. i used Johnson's Baby Lotion after 1 week when my baby was born ..it is safe for newborn babies ..

No mam it’s not like that it’s totally your choice after seven days of birth you can start doing body massage and you can use whatever product you would want to use on the skin of the child it is also equally true that you should only use it if you want to there is no compulsion to me

No dear it is not true.I personally use Johnson’s Baby product from the 1st day of my baby.This product is mild,gentle on new born delicate skin.It keeps the skin smooth soft healthy and moisture all day long.It is dermatologist tested.safe for daily use.Don’t worry mamma go for it.
