Q.

Sir this is the question since I missed the dose of chicken pox at 6 yr age and now he is 7.5 yr old and got mild chicken pox . Should I get the pox shot now I mean does he need it after being infected with mild chicken pox now

A. Hi There is no meaning to give vaccine after child is infected Just focus on recovery from chicken pox after paediatrician opinion, get the vaccine later, if dr says okay. Vaccine takes time for anti bodies to develop.

A. as the baby has got infected naturally then there is no need to take the shot chicken pox vaccine.. these days chicken pox medicine is given you should consult the doctor if baby is suffering with.. maintain hygiene.. keep baby well hydrated..
