Q.

sir, my wife's sister gave birth a baby 10 days ago. Now baby is suffering from moderate hydronephrosis in one kidney and Doc tell surgery for that. sir my question is that " Is there any another option for the problem" attached the report

A. I am not doctor but would like to advise u as per my experience. If baby is not having any problem, taking feed and poop pee is normal then wait for 3 months and after 3 month repeat the test. It is too early to diagnose things because surgery is not advisable at this age. My baby also had cyst and doctor told us for surgery but there is nothing when I repeated the test after 4 months.

A. there is no other option and it is advisable to follow the doctor otherwise you can again meet second nephrologist will guide you if wait and watch policy is needed or you may have to go for surgery
