Q.

sir,my is 2.5 months old ,he latches for every one hour but not for long time, but for every 2-3 hours he latches for long time otherwise even to sleep he latches for just 2-3 mins and sleeps.In recent check up doctor said that his growth is very good and I have adequate milk supply but I need to stop him to latch every one hour.I have tried to stop him ,but he keeps crying..can you please suggest few tricks to keep the feeding gap for long.

A. No need to worry because the baby is a cluster feeding. During this. They will suckle a lot and more frequently in order to increase the milk supply.Write Your Answer Here

A. baby taking feed in the gap of two or three hours is perfectly alright and as baby is small they gets tired while latching milk and that's why takes longer time for latching as baby is growing well you should not be worried and you will have to keep your patience high
