Q.

sir my baby is 10months old and is having cold cough congestion.i and giving him medicine as prescribed by his doctor.can I nebulize him?and with what?

A. you can give nebulization with ns bottle that is normal saline water. this will help in decreasing both dry cough as well as will help in decreasing the mucus present in the throat of the child. but other nebulization medicines (asthalin, duolin, budecort etc) can be given to your child is decided by the doctor. so your doctor will decide after examination whether your child needs a nebulization with these medicines or notd thus the maximum nebulization that you can give to the child without medical consultation is with normal saline it is totally safe and it is not addictive

A. hello avoid nebulization unless it is advised by your doctor and just give medicine as advised by your doctor and put nasal drop and use instant rub from babyhug which is very effective and help your child recover fast and nothing to worry
