sir meri Beti ko 7 month completed h nd uske teething problems me fever π€ b ho raha h aur uski health b usi wajah se nhi ho rahi h please help me

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Fever is a reaction of the body to different pyrogens released during any Infection. Usually temp more than 99 F is taken as fever .
Mostly in children fever is because of viral infections like flu or RSV where the fever is there for 4-5 days but may persist even upto 2 weeks .
Initially antipyretic like paracetamol is given in a dose of 15 mg / kg/ dose. Can be repeated after 4-6 hrs if needed .
Lukewarm sponge bgyath can be givenn as home remedy to decrease fever.
Adequate fluid intake is also beneficial.
Urine output monitoring is necessary to avoid dehydration .

Fever is very common with a child when theyβre having their teeth so I think it could be because of that only the fever can last for a minimum of three days yet if you see that the fever is not subsiding what is any other symptoms apart from fever when you cross check with your doctor onesWrite Your Answer Here
