Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management fhior dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterixal infection which needs antibiotics treatment

See you cannot self medicate your child your child is too small right now I would advise you to consult your paediatrician and go ahead as per their suggestion on because I would advise you with the right medicine and probiotics that can be given to the child according to their age and issue that your child is going through so the correct thing I believe right now is going to be consulting your doctorWrite Your Answer Here
