Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also.
it is also normal if they aree passing stool more than 6 or 7 times per day.
if the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as the colour (the colour can range from yellow brown green to black) of the stool.
also straining while passing urine and stool is normal.
Do burping for 15 to 20 minutes

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. Hello dear parent! Exclusively breastfed babies might not be passing stools even for a week. It is alright as long as your baby is active and normal. Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby well on demand. Give good tummy time everyday. Use Babyhug tummy roll on. Speak to your doctor for further advice.
