For FEVER as well as PAIN kindly give paracetamol according to the weight of child as well as according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having and paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day and also do body sponge to decrease the surface temperature. Also when u take temperature in the armpit of the child and it is 100 or more then only consider it as fever and give Paracetamol. higher medicines for fever like ibugesic and mefenamic has to be given only after medical consultation very important to meet your doctor to find the cause of infection

meeta agarwalMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello, Call your pediatrician if your child: Has a temperature of 104 F or higher. Is under 3 months old and has a temperature of 100.4 F or higher. Has a fever that lasts for more than 72 hours (or more than 24 hours if your child is under age 2)
