Q.

Recently my baby had a bad lip injury during playing. His lip was lacerated and had a plastic surgery 3 days back. he was recovering now. But my concern was he always touching the stitches with his tongue and teeth and few stitches were getting removed. Outside stitches are absolutely fine but inside lips they are getting removed. when I called surgeon he told that try to avoid it or we need to stitch again. he is a plastic surgeon,. is really a concern if stitches getting removed for a 2 year old baby after 3 days of operation? can you please suggest

A. Hi parent please don't get panic about this matter please if possible please avoid it please follow your pediatrician instructions very carefully please keep your child cool and dry and maintain hygiene properly
